Reunited under one roof – ASTech moves into its new headquarters [incl. VIDEO]

Gaimersheim – Yesterday afternoon, July 26, 2018, ASTech celebrated the official opening of its new headquarters in the presence of employees, customers, partners and neighboring firms in the Gaimersheim industrial park. The modern, three-story construction offers space for 230 employees. The proximity to Audi, as well as to strategic (development) partners who are also located in Gaimersheim, played a decisive role in the selection of the site.

With the ASTech employees previously spread out over two separate buildings in Gaimersheim and Ingolstadt, the goal was to bring everyone together under one roof in an effort to streamline collaboration and networking and make optimal use of our synergies. By moving into the new headquarters, we’re now in a position to realize these objectives.

The dedication ceremony was initiated through a personal invitation from Managing Director Claus Blattner and was held in conjunction with this year’s ASTech Day. The event included welcome addresses from Andrea Mickel, Mayor of Gaimersheim, building owner Roland Wild, plus one of our four shareholders, Andre Braun (AEV).  Employees from various departments also organized a showcase with live demos to introduce topics such as virtual testing, machine learning, software development (using the pre sense function packet as an example), as well as human models. The showcase gave visitors insights into our core expertise and day-to-day business, while a tour offered the chance to become familiar with the new ASTech building from station to station, and floor to floor. The event also served as a platform for the visitors to network and to get to know one another.
